The Mihindu foundation is conducting regular children's workshops to increase awareness and improve
fundamental Sri Lankan values, such as respecting parents and teachers, amongst our children living in
Australia. The foundation uses tools such as dramas and concerts to entertain children while
teaching Sri Lankan culture and traditional values. The Mihindu foundation produces the TIKIRI CHILDRENS NEWSPAPER on bimonthly basis, which is very popular within Sri Lankan children and the Sri Lankan community. It is freely distributed through the Buddhist temples, shops, community service organisations and language schools.
