Mihindu Foundation

Mihindu Cultural Foundation of Sri Lanka, with the affiliation of the Mihindu Children’s Foundation and Cultural Centre in Melbourne, have launched their Australian branch to serve the Sri Lankan children living in Melbourne and other states in Australia.

It is good news, no doubt, for the children of the Sri Lankan community living in Australia.

The Mihindu Cultural Foundation, along with the Mihindu Children’s Foundation in Melbourne, has common ideals, objectives and programs to help our children enhance their abilities and talents. Through our group activities, games and fun filled events, children learn to develop their well-being, discipline, education and their physical fitness

All our programs and activities are based on our own cultural and traditional heritage that gives added value to the upbringing of Sri Lankan children of today and tomorrow.

In this respect, our Foundations plan to work in alliance with the parents of these children so that the parents can ensure that their children are truly benefited by our valuable programs. The contribution of the parents will be paramount in enhancing the child/parent relationship.

Our prime target will be to produce a well mannered, common sensed and educated group of children who would be the best citizens of Australia and Sri Lanka in their interested fields.

It will be the pride of parents and all those involved to take part in our projected programs and ideals.
